PLCPD and UNFPA sustain partnership for advancing SRHR

PLCPD and UNFPA Philippines sign a new partnership agreement under UNFPA’s 9th Country Programme, 2024-2028.

This year, PLCPD and UNFPA are working together in the legislative advocacy for the passage of adolescent pregnancy prevention bill and other related measures, advocacy for exercise of congressional oversight on the implementation of Reproductive Health Law—including budget allocation for maternal health and adolescent reproductive health—and advocacy for population and human development laws in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao through partnership with the members of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority.
